Zachary is a graduate of Capital University Law School (J.D., summa cum laude). His practice involves all aspects of the defense of complex civil litigation from pre-suit matters to jury trials to appeals. Zachary’s practice focuses on the defense of physicians, healthcare professionals, and hospitals; trucking and commercial transportation liability; and general liability matters.
While in law school, Zachary served as a judicial extern to Justice Sharon Kennedy at the Supreme Court of Ohio, a law clerk at the Franklin County Probate Court, an extern to the general counsel of the Columbus Blue Jackets, and as a law clerk at a boutique estate planning and probate firm in Upper Arlington, Ohio.
Zachary’s academic achievements include Dean’s List honors every semester of law school, the Dean’s Excellence Award, and CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Rules of Civil Procedure, Professional Responsibility, and Environmental Law for being the highest scoring student in each respective class. He also served as an Articles Editor on the Executive Board of Capital University Law Review, Volume 46, and as a Staff Editor on Volume 45. His article The Pervasiveness of Cell Phones and the Fourth Amendment: A Right to Privacy in Locational Data was selected by his peers for publication in Volume 46 of the Capital University Law School Law Review.
