Before receiving her Associate’s Degree in legal assisting in 2002, Carrie began working for Columbus City Schools working in the Adult and Basic Literacy Education Program as a part-time instructor helping students earn their GED. Carrie has been an instructor with that program since 1992.

Carrie has 20 years of litigation defense experience in the medical malpractice specialty. Carrie became a Certified Legal Assistant through the National Association of Legal Assistants in 2004. She obtained an Advanced Certified Paralegal designation in both discovery and e-discovery. She joined the Paralegal Association of Central Ohio (PACO) in 2019 and is a part of their mentoring committee.

Carrie lives in Hilliard, Ohio with her husband of 17 years. She enjoys watching football, hockey, and spending time with family and friends.
