Court Upholds Wrongful Death Dismissal

Congratulations to Sabrina Sellers and Chris Johnson for their win in the Fourth District Court of Appeals on behalf of their Hospital client! The Court upheld the dismissal of a wrongful death matter on a Motion for Judgment on the Pleadings on the basis that a physician cannot rely on another provider’s determination of a breach of the standard of care to state that such breach caused a decedent’s death.
